The Chillicothe Paints (39-20) and the Butler Blue Sox (39-20) each put runners in scoring position on Monday, but the Chillicothe Paints capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 7-4 win at Pullman Park.

Joe Hoscheit racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Chillicothe Paints. He homered in the first inning.

Ryan Hanahan was hot from the plate for the Butler Blue Sox. Hanahan went 3-5 and scored two runs. He tripled in the sixth inning and singled in the first and eighth innings.

Derek Moore got the win, running his season record to 3-1. He allowed three runs over five innings. Moore struck out none, walked one and gave up seven hits.

Nathan Sphon (0-1) took the loss for the Butler Blue Sox. He allowed seven runs in four innings, walked one and struck out one.
