Ben Hartz kept the Chillicothe Paints (37-18) off the board during his six innings of work and the Butler Blue Sox (36-19) beat the Chillicothe Paints, 7-3.

Hartz struck out four and allowed three walks and four hits.

Ryan Uhl paced the Butler Blue Sox at the plate. Uhl went 2-4 and scored two runs. He singled in the second inning and doubled in the third inning.

Ronnie Dawson racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Chillicothe Paints. He singled in the first inning and tripled in the ninth inning.

Steve Huber (2-4) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed seven runs in 2 2/3 innings, walked two and struck out one.
