Mick Fennell went 2-4 as the Butler Blue Sox (26-18) took home a 4-1 victory over the Richmond RiverRats (16-28) at Pullman Park on Sunday.
He singled in the fifth and seventh innings.Tanner Schumacher had an impressive outing against the Richmond RiverRats' lineup. The Richmond RiverRats managed just one hit off of Schumacher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his two innings of work.
Mitch Patishall recorded his third win of the year for the Butler Blue Sox. He allowed one run over five innings. He struck out four, walked three and surrendered four hits.
Luke McGee (2-3) took the loss for the Richmond RiverRats. He lasted just six innings, walked one, struck out five, and allowed four runs.
