Logan Landon went 1-3 as the Lorain County Ironmen (17-25) took home a 5-3 victory over the Champion City Kings (17-24) at The Pipe Yard on Wednesday.
He tripled in the fifth inning.Ian Horne was hot from the plate for the Champion City Kings. Horne went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the fourth inning and homered in the sixth inning.
Landon improved to 1-4 on the year by picking up the win for the Lorain County Ironmen. He allowed three runs over six innings. Landon struck out one, walked four and gave up eight hits.
Chris Hunt ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
