The Springfield Sliders (6-26) had a tough outing on Thursday, as the Terre Haute Rex (20-13) dominated in a 15-4 win at Robin Roberts Field.

Austin McPheron improved to 4-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Terre Haute Rex. He allowed four runs over six innings. McPheron struck out two, walked five and gave up seven hits.

Kent Williams ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in five innings, walked none and struck out none.
