A walk-off single from Cody Herald brought home the winning run for the Butler Blue Sox (16-13) in a 5-4 victory over the Richmond RiverRats (11-17) at Pullman Park on Monday.

Herald paced the Butler Blue Sox at the plate. Herald went 1-4 and drove in one. He singled in the ninth inning.

Austin Ross pitched lights out for the Butler Blue Sox. Ross gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out five during his three innings of work.

Matt Brankle was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
