Manuel De Jesus collected three hits as the Terre Haute Rex (15-8) took home a 6-3 victory over the Danville Dans (13-11) at Bob Warn Field at Sycamore Stad on Sunday.

Dalton Lundeen was effective even in defeat, mowing down eight the Terre Haute Rex batters and allowing three runs.

Austin Bryant put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Danville Dans. He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the sixth inning.

Chad Mayle improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Terre Haute Rex. He allowed two runs over 2 1/3 innings. Mayle struck out two, walked none and gave up four hits.

Kyle Royalty couldn't get it done on the bump for the Danville Dans, taking a loss. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
