A great effort by C J Burdick led the Danville Dans (13-10) to a 1-0 win over the Hannibal Cavemen (10-11) on Saturday at Clemens Field.

J Burdick pitched lights out for the Danville Dans. The Hannibal Cavemen managed just one hit off of the the Danville Dans' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out nine during his nine innings of work.

Tyler Selesky led the Danville Dans' offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He singled in the fourth and eighth innings.

Jalen Miller couldn't get it done on the bump for the Hannibal Cavemen, taking a loss. He lasted just 8 1/3 innings, walked six, struck out three, and allowed one run.
