Five runs in the first three innings allowed the Richmond RiverRats to put the game away early.

An RBI double by Brendon Neel and a groundout by Kyle Jackson in the first inning supplied the early offense for the Richmond RiverRats.

Neel racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Richmond RiverRats.

Reed Evans picked up the win for the Richmond RiverRats. Evans allowed one earned run, six hits and two walks while striking out two over seven innings of work.

Joey Mancuso racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Champion City Kings. He homered in the fourth inning.
