The Champion City Kings (10-6) didn't put up much of a fight on Monday, as the Butler Blue Sox (11-6) cruised to a blowout 10-1 win at Davidson Stadium.

The Butler Blue Sox scored four runs in the seventh on the Butler Blue Sox scored in the seventh on a groundout by Collin Massanelli, a single by Mick Fennell, , a single by Stephen Sada, a sacrifice fly by Forrest Perron, and a double by Jeffrey Revesz.

Cody Herald racked up four RBIs on four hits for the Butler Blue Sox. He singled in the third, fourth, and sixth innings.

The Butler Blue Sox relied on Ben Hartz to eat up innings en route to the win. Hartz pitched six innings and allowed no earned runs, four hits and three walks while striking out one.

The Butler Blue Sox couldn't get anything going so long as Zack Oakley was on the hill. Oakley held the Butler Blue Sox hitless over 2 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out none.

Jacob Rodrigue was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 3 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
