Zach Woolcock went 2-3, sparking the West Virginia Miners (6-10) to a 6-5 victory over the Terre Haute Rex (8-6) on Saturday at Linda K. Epling Stadium.

Grayson Atwood racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Terre Haute Rex. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the fifth innings.

Austin Gardner had an impressive outing against the West Virginia Miners' lineup. The West Virginia Miners managed just two hits off of the the Terre Haute Rex's pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three during his 3 1/3 innings of work.

Trevor Conn improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the West Virginia Miners. He allowed two runs over three innings. He struck out five, walked one and surrendered three hits.
