Bryan Baker hopes every outing could go as well as Friday, as Baker pitched seven shutout innings to carry the Danville Dans (7-8) to a 10-0 victory over the Hannibal Cavemen (9-6) at Clemens Field.
Seven runs in the first three innings helped the Danville Dans blow out the Hannibal Cavemen. An RBI single by Paddy OBrien in the first inning and a two-run double by Connor McManigal, an RBI single by Austin Bryant, an RBI single by Bryant, an RBI double by Keith Shumaker, and an RBI single by OBrien during the second inning fueled the Danville Dans' offense early.
McManigal racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Danville Dans.
Cameron Carney (0-1) took the loss for the Hannibal Cavemen. He allowed seven runs in 1 1/3 innings, walked one and struck out one.
