The Walla Walla (14-21) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 10-6 to the Spokane (25-12) on Friday.
While the Walla Walla led until the sixth inning, the Spokane worked their way back and took the lead on a solo home run by Sarita Leon.
Leon racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Spokane. He singled in the first inning and homered in the sixth inning.
Marisa Gonzalez racked up four RBIs on three hits for the Walla Walla. He homered in the third inning and singled in the first and fifth innings.
Even though Lindsie Scholwinski allowed six runs over seven innings he still recorded the victory, his tenth of the season. Scholwinski struck out 13, walked four and gave up eight hits.
Jamie Moe was charged with his fourteenth loss of the year. He allowed 10 runs in seven innings, walked four and struck out two.
