The game between the Yakima Valley (24-14) and the Yakima Valley went into extra innings, but when the last out was recorded the Yakima Valley emerged with a 7-6 victory.

With the score tied at six in the eleventh inning, Ty Earley came to the plate and singled, scoring Connor Lau.

The Columbia Basin (22-12) couldn't slow down Ryan Leone, who paced the Yakima Valley with five hits. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the third, fifth, ninth, and eleventh innings.

Landon Croft pitched lights out for the Yakima Valley. Croft gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his 2 2/3 innings of work.

Kenton Brunson had two extra-base hits for the Columbia Basin. He doubled in the first inning, homered in the sixth inning, and singled in the tenth inning.

Zach Peters improved to 2-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Yakima Valley. Peters struck out one, walked one and gave up no hits.

Stetson Plew (1-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just four innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
