The Edmonds (31-7) beat the Bellevue (23-19) 6-5 in seven innings on Sunday at Triton Field behind Ryan Budnick, who drove in three runs.
He singled in the first and fourth innings.Kurt Lindemann did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Bellevue, reaching base three times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the second inning and doubled in the sixth inning.
Austin Lee improved to 7-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Edmonds. He allowed four runs over 5 2/3 innings. He struck out one, walked two and surrendered eight hits.
Aaron Sandefur (2-1) took the loss for the Bellevue. He lasted just 3 1/3 innings, walked three, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
