The Lower Columbia (17-12) pounded the Clark (7-21) on Wednesday 8-0 at Clark Softball Field in six innings.

The Lower Columbia scored four runs in the fifth on a double by Ashley Wells, a double by Haley Hibbs, an RBI double by Chelsea Miller, and an RBI double by Jenny Hagen.

Hibbs racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Lower Columbia.

Julia Breidt held the Clark scoreless during his five innings of work. He pitched a shutout, allowing no opposing players to cross the plate on three hits while ringing up two.

Jackie Jones (4-12) took the loss for the Clark. He allowed eight runs in five innings, walked none and struck out one.
