The Highline (12-17)'s three first-inning runs built an early lead that helped bring home a 4-1 win over the Centralia (20-12) on Friday at Highline Field.
It was a good day at the plate for the Highline's Hayley Craddock. Craddock went 2-3 and scored two runs. He singled in the first innings and doubled in the third innings.
The Highline relied on Kayla Andrus to eat up innings en route to the win. Andrus allowed one earned run, six hits and two walks while striking out three over seven innings of work.
It was a good day at the plate for the Centralia's Lauren Fisher. Fisher went 1-3, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the second inning.
Kalynn Randt (11-4) took the loss for the Centralia. He lasted just six innings, walked two, struck out six, and allowed four runs.
