Both the Centralia (7-9) and the Green River (1-8) put runners aboard on Friday, but it was the Centralia that were able to take advantage, pulling out a 5-2 win at Service Club- Kent.

Carly Hershberger led the Centralia's offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He scored one run and had two RBIs. He doubled in the second innings.

Reno Whitcomb was hot from the plate for the Green River. Whitcomb went 3-4 and scored two runs. He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the fifth and seventh innings.

Kalynn Randt improved to 5-3 on the year by picking up the win for the Centralia. He allowed two runs over seven innings. He struck out three, walked two and surrendered 10 hits.

Rachel Barcena was charged with his seventh loss of the year. He lasted just seven innings, walked five, struck out five, and allowed five runs.
