Mason Dunning went 2-3 as the Lower Columbia (25-11) took home a 6-3 victory over the Tacoma (32-2) at Minnitti Field on Saturday.
He doubled in the second inning and singled in the third inning.CJ Hicks did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Tacoma, reaching base two times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He tripled in the fifth inning.
Jacob Cogar recorded his fifth win of the year for the Lower Columbia. He allowed one run over 4 2/3 innings. Cogar struck out none, walked one and gave up two hits.
Joey Gamache was charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed six runs in eight innings, walked one and struck out three.
