The Lower Columbia (22-7) built an early edge on Friday, but the Pierce (15-9) roared back to steal a 5-2 victory at Mt Tahoma High School .
An RBI single by Dalton Elmer gave the Pierce the lead in the fourth inning.
Dillon Gee got a hit in each of his three at bats. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the fourth and seventh innings.
Darrien Moran picked up the win for the Pierce. Moran pitched seven innings and allowed two earned runs, seven hits and no walks while striking out two.
Michael Forgione was solid at the plate for the Lower Columbia. Forgione went 2-4 and scored one run. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the fifth inning.
Tanner Olson ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just seven innings, walked one, struck out six, and allowed five runs.
The Pierce were sparked by Colton Nash and Gee, who teamed up for five hits and three RBIs.
