The Mt. Hood (7-17) pounded the SW Oregon (14-11) on Saturday 11-1 at SWOCC Athletic Fields in seven innings.

The Mt. Hood scored five runs in the seventh on an RBI single by Nick Gawley, , an error, a single by Logan Grindy, a sacrifice fly by Clark Bryant, and a single by Tommy Lane.

The Mt. Hood were led by a flawless day at the dish by Evan Jones, who went 2-2 against the SW Oregon's pitching. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the fourth inning.

Clint Burris picked up the win for the Mt. Hood. Burris allowed one earned run, four hits and one walk while striking out one over seven innings of work.

Riley Phillips (3-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in four innings, walked one and struck out six.
