A six-run explosion in the seventh inning spurred the Lane (27-16) to a 7-1 win in seven innings over the SW Oregon (21-22) at SWOCC Athletic Fields on Saturday.

The SW Oregon had the lead early, but couldn't hold off the Lane. The SW Oregon led until the seventh inning, but the Lane took the lead back on an RBI single by Spencer Smith.

Jarren Goddard racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Lane. He singled in the sixth inning and homered in the seventh inning.

Travis Kelley got the win for the Lane thanks to seven strikeouts. Kelley allowed one earned run on six hits and no walks over six innings.

Jordan Farley was charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked three, struck out six, and allowed four runs.
