California Warriors vs San Francisco Seagulls: 3-2

Boxscore | Game Recap | Boxscore Text Version | Gamelive Version

The California Warriors make the most of 4 hits in 3-2 victory over the San Francisco Seagulls

Story by Narrative Science.

The California Warriors (26-21) and the San Francisco Seagulls (25-22) both had scoring chances on Saturday, but it was the California Warriors that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 3-2 win at Fairmont Field.

The fact that the California Warriors grouped all of their runs into the fifth inning helped them take advantage of their hits.

Steve Baker picked up the win for the California Warriors. Baker allowed two earned runs, seven hits and one walk while striking out five over seven innings of work.

The California Warriors' lineup had no answer for David Moody. Moody held the California Warriors hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out four.

Preston Tarter (2-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just four innings, walked four, struck out seven, and allowed three runs.
