The Tulsa (OK) Braves fall 11-1 at the hands of the Kansas Alumni

The Kansas Alumni (2-1) pounded the Tulsa (OK) Braves (1-2) on Monday 11-1 at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium in six innings.

The Kansas Alumni scored five runs in the sixth on a two-run single by Deik Scram, an RBI single by Ryan Hege, an RBI single by Hege, a sacrifice fly by Mark McBratney, and an RBI single by Mike McDonald.

Adam McCormick got on base four times in the game for the Kansas Alumni. He scored three runs and had one RBI. He doubled in the first inning.

The Tulsa (OK) Braves had no answer for Rob Musgrave, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Tulsa (OK) Braves managed just two hits off of the the Kansas Alumni's pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four during his four innings of work.

Reuben Kerbs improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Kansas Alumni. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered two hits.

ZACH CANTWELL ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed six runs in 4 2/3 innings, walked three and struck out four.
