The San Diego (CA) Force take out the Ozark (MO) Generals with help from Leary, 8-6

Timothy Leary went 2-5, helping the San Diego (CA) Force (2-0) to an 8-6 victory over the Ozark (MO) Generals (1-1) on Sunday at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium.

He tripled in the first inning and singled in the eighth inning.

The Ozark (MO) Generals couldn't get anything going so long as Tyler Elrod was on the hill. The Ozark (MO) Generals managed just two hits off of the the San Diego (CA) Force's pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four during his five innings of work.

A bright spot for the Ozark (MO) Generals in the defeat was Andy Flett, who allowed only three runs while striking out seven.

Nick Rotola had a hot bat for the Ozark (MO) Generals. Rotola went 3-4 and scored one run. He singled in the third, fourth, and seventh innings.

Jonathan Rosario ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
