Brenden Geary went 1-3 and hit a home run, sparking the Pittsfield Suns (23-23) to a 4-3 victory in eight innings over the Torrington Titans (19-26) on Sunday at Fuessenich Park.

Ryan Kelly had a hot bat for the Torrington Titans. Kelly went 1-3, drove in one and scored one run. He tripled in the first inning.

Mike Meszoros improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Pittsfield Suns. He allowed three runs over four innings. He struck out five, walked one and surrendered two hits.

Matt Quintana couldn't get it done on the bump for the Torrington Titans, taking a loss. He lasted just 4 2/3 innings, walked three, struck out five, and allowed three runs.
