McCormick helps the Kansas Alumni down the Colorado Cardinals 6-3

Adam McCormick knocked in three runs, sparking the Kansas Alumni (1-1) to a 6-3 victory over the Colorado Cardinals (0-2) on Monday at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium.

He singled in the third and ninth innings.

Jared Simon brought the heat against the Colorado Cardinals during his outing. Simon held the Colorado Cardinals hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

Luke Stratman racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Colorado Cardinals. He tripled in the sixth inning.

Andy Womack got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He allowed three runs over seven innings. Womack struck out five, walked three and gave up nine hits.

Brandon Bailey was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
