Ty Redington collected three hits, sparking the Kansas Cannons (1-0) to a 4-2 victory over the Colorado Cardinals (0-1) on Sunday at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium.

Zak Mickens had an impressive outing against the Colorado Cardinals' lineup. The Colorado Cardinals managed just two hits off of the the Kansas Cannons' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out five during his four innings of work.

Michael Turner put together a nice outing. The Kansas Cannons managed just one hit off of Turner, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his two innings of work.

Kyle Burkhardt improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Kansas Cannons. He allowed two runs over five innings. He struck out five, walked seven and surrendered three hits.

Eli Thornquist (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just five innings, walked one, struck out five, and allowed four runs.
