William Young improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Denver (CO) Cougars. He allowed two runs over seven innings. He struck out two, walked four and surrendered seven hits.

Ethan Peacock ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. He lasted just 3 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
