Richard Nason hopes every outing could go as well as Friday, as Nason tossed a shutout to carry the Ozark (MO) Generals (1-0) to an 8-0 victory over the Albuquerque (NM) Diablos (0-1) at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium in eight innings.

The Ozark (MO) Generals' Nason kept the Albuquerque (NM) Diablos off the scoreboard for all eight innings he was on the hill. He pitched a shutout, allowing no opposing players to cross the plate on three hits while ringing up five.
