The Falmouth Commodores (22-17) beat the Wareham Gatemen (8-30) 7-4 in seven innings on Tuesday at Spillane Field behind Troy Stein, who had two extra base hits.
He doubled in the second inning and tripled in the seventh inning.Adam Toth had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He doubled in the third and fifth innings.
Jared Price got the win, running his season record to 2-0. He allowed one run over one inning. Price struck out none, walked two and gave up two hits.
Jonathan Holder (0-1) took the loss for the Wareham Gatemen. He allowed six runs in 1 2/3 innings, walked one and struck out one.
