Nate Pajka had two extra base hits as the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs (14-17) took home a 9-6 victory over the Pittsfield Suns (14-18) in eight innings at Wahconah Park on Wednesday.

He doubled in the fifth inning, singled in the third and seventh innings, and homered in the eighth inning.

Kyle Singleton racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Pittsfield Suns. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the second and seventh innings.

Josh Tombs recorded his first win of the year for the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs. He allowed one run over three innings. He struck out two, walked none and surrendered two hits.

Josh Martin (0-2) took the loss for the Pittsfield Suns. He lasted just two innings, walked none, struck out one, and allowed four runs.

The Wachusett Dirt Dawgs' Tyler Mikrut, Jamill Moquete and Pajka combined for 10 hits and six RBIs.
