An impressive two-way performance from R. Norm Donkin led the Rockville Express (18-13) to a 8-5 win Tuesday over the Silver Spring Takoma T Bolts, as Norm Donkin came up huge at the dish and on the hill.

Norm Donkin racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Rockville Express. He singled in the first, second, and sixth innings.

Norm Donkin put together a nice outing. Norm Donkin held the Silver Spring Takoma T Bolts (11-22) hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

The Rockville Express got their bats going early, scoring four runs in the first inning to pull ahead of the Silver Spring Takoma T Bolts.

Augustus Gill was solid at the plate for the Silver Spring Takoma T Bolts. Gill went 2-3, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the fourth and sixth innings.

Dan Gayeski pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run, three hits and two walks while striking out three.

Chris Brown recorded his second win of the year for the Rockville Express. He allowed four runs over 2 1/3 innings. Brown struck out one, walked one and gave up five hits.

Danny ODonnell (2-4) took the loss for the Silver Spring Takoma T Bolts. He allowed seven runs in two innings, walked none and struck out one.
