A great effort by Josh Taylor spurred the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets (9-9) to a 4-0 win in seven innings over the Edmonton Prospects (2-17) on Wednesday at Cairns Field, Saskatoon, SK.

Taylor racked up 12 strikeouts in the the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets win. The Saskatoon Yellow Jackets' pitcher tossed seven innings of shutout ball and allowed only three hits.

Jake Moore went a perfect 3-3 at the dish for the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the first and fifth innings.

Michael Nelson couldn't get it done on the mound for the Edmonton Prospects, taking a loss. He lasted just six innings, walked three, struck out eight, and allowed four runs.
