Both the Neptune Beach Pearl and the Nevada Big Horns (7-7) put runners aboard on Thursday, but it was the Neptune Beach Pearl that were able to take advantage, pulling out a 4-3 win at College of Alameda.

Bryan Tibbitts had two extra-base hits for the Neptune Beach Pearl. He doubled in the second and fourth innings.

The Nevada Big Horns had no answer for Michael Theofanopoulos, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Theofanopoulos gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four during his two innings of work.

James Young racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Nevada Big Horns. He homered in the third inning.

Jordan Haseltine got it done on the mound on the way to a win. He pitched one shutout inning. Haseltine struck out one, walked one and gave up no hits.

Sam Eichler couldn't get it done on the hill for the Nevada Big Horns, taking a loss. He lasted just six innings, walked three, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
