The Carolina Vipers (9-13) had a tough outing on Tuesday, as the Carolina Chaos (7-11) dominated in a 10-3 win in seven innings at Southern Wesleyan University.

The Carolina Chaos scored five runs in the sixth on a hit by pitch, a sacrifice fly by Jacob Simmons, a steal of home by Ryan McCray, a hit by pitch, , and a hit by pitch.

Brandon Martin racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Carolina Chaos.

The Carolina Vipers had no answer for Wesley Gholson, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Carolina Vipers managed just one hit off of Gholson, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two during his four innings of work.

Will Ray was hot from the plate for the Carolina Vipers. Ray went 1-2, drove in one and scored one run. He tripled in the third inning.

Ben Correll (0-3) took the loss for the Carolina Vipers. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
