The Presstman Cardinals (4-6) beat the Baltimore Redbirds (6-5) 6-3 on Tuesday at Calvert Hall HS behind Zach Markel, who collected three hits.

Jake Enterlin baffled the Baltimore Redbirds, striking out eight batters. Enterlin allowed one earned run, four hits and one walk over seven innings.

LaMonte Wade Jr. was effective even in defeat, mowing down six the Presstman Cardinals batters and allowing one run.

Algenis Vargas improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Presstman Cardinals. He allowed one run over two innings. Vargas struck out one, walked two and gave up two hits.

Nick Krolczyk couldn't get it done on the hill for the Baltimore Redbirds, taking a loss. He lasted just two innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed three runs.
