The Las Vegas Train Robbers (23-16) pounded the Taos Blizzard (16-23) on Thursday 16-4 in seven innings.

The Las Vegas Train Robbers scored seven runs in the seventh on an RBI single by Greg Fowler, a two-run double by Joey Haskell, and a home run by Matt Grosso.

Ryan Lauer racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Las Vegas Train Robbers. He homered in the third inning and singled in the fifth inning.

Fowler looked sharp on the mound. Fowler gave up just three hits, allowed two earned runs, walked one and struck out five during his six innings of work.

Javier Perez ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed nine runs in three innings, walked one and struck out two.

The Las Vegas Train Robbers easily handled the Taos Blizzard pitching as seven hitters combined for 12 hits, 14 RBIs and 14 runs scored.
