The Lethbridge Bulls (22-21) beat the Edmonton Prospects (6-38) 9-4 on Sunday at Spitz Stadium behind Travis Steinke, who collected three hits.

He homered in the second inning and singled in the third and seventh innings.

Tyler Vavra brought the heat against the Edmonton Prospects during his outing. Vavra held the Edmonton Prospects hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four.

Jordan Geiger paced the Edmonton Prospects at the plate. Geiger went 2-5, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the third inning and singled in the fifth inning.

Brody McDonald got the win, running his season record to 1-1. He struck out four, walked none and surrendered one hit.

Geiger (0-6) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed eight runs in six innings, walked two and struck out five.
