The Melville Millionaires (27-16) and the Regina Red Sox (22-20) both had scoring chances on Thursday, but it was the Melville Millionaires that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out an 11-6 win at Currie Field.

Kevin Biro racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Melville Millionaires. He doubled in the sixth inning and singled in the fifth and seventh innings.

Chase Benfield reached base four times in the game for the Regina Red Sox. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the second inning.

Callaway Kirkpatrick got the win, running his season record to 5-3. He allowed one run over three innings. Kirkpatrick struck out none, walked two and gave up five hits.

Bronson Gillam couldn't get it done on the mound for the Regina Red Sox, taking a loss. He allowed eight runs in 4 2/3 innings, walked one and struck out one.
