The Weyburn Beavers were led by a flawless day at the dish by Ryan Bourcier, who went 3-3 against the Lethbridge Bulls' pitching. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the fourth and fifth innings.
Ryan Johnson's nine strikeouts helped the Weyburn Beavers to the victory. Johnson allowed one earned run on two hits and two walks over five innings.
Cade Bowen ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked none, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
