The Okotoks Dawgs cruise past the Weyburn Beavers, 10-2

The Okotoks Dawgs (18-5) pounded the Weyburn Beavers (8-16) on Tuesday 10-2 at Seaman Stadium.

A two-run single by Jordan Procyshen and a two-run triple by Cade Gotta helped the Okotoks Dawgs score four runs in the third. The Okotoks Dawgs had three hits in the inning.

Chris Shaw racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Okotoks Dawgs. He homered in the seventh inning.

Hayden Cleveland's six strikeouts were enough to push the Okotoks Dawgs past the Weyburn Beavers. Cleveland allowed one earned run on five hits and two walks over 6 2/3 innings.

Michael Lukkason boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 4-4 day at the plate to pace the Weyburn Beavers. He singled in the second, fifth, seventh, and ninth innings.

Ryan Shaw ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in 6 2/3 innings, walked four and struck out three.
