Bryan Arthur went 2-4, sparking the Medicine Hat Mavericks (20-3) to a 5-2 victory over the Moose Jaw Miller Express (11-14) on Sunday at Jefferies Park/Kinsmen Park.

Les Northcutt pitched lights out for the Medicine Hat Mavericks. Northcutt held the Moose Jaw Miller Express hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three.

Ben Bridges allowed three earned runs, five hits and two walks while striking out four over seven innings of work.

Alex Graham improved to 4-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Medicine Hat Mavericks. Graham struck out one, walked none and gave up no hits.

Bridges ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year.
