The Moose Jaw Miller Express (9-12) beat the Regina Red Sox (9-9) 8-5 on Sunday at Currie Field behind Jon Cotter, who went 4-4 at the plate.

Ben Bridges kept contact to a minimum, striking out six the Regina Red Sox batters. Bridges allowed one earned run on seven hits and two walks over seven innings.

Jesus Del Rosario was effective even in defeat, mowing down five the Moose Jaw Miller Express batters and allowing zero runs.

Chase Benfield paced the Regina Red Sox at the plate. Benfield went 3-4 and scored one run. He singled in the third, fifth, and ninth innings.

William Shell (0-2) took the loss for the Regina Red Sox. He allowed seven runs in four innings, walked one and struck out four.
