Hector Rivera went 3-3 at the plate as the Regina Red Sox (9-6) took home a 4-2 victory over the Weyburn Beavers (6-10) at Currie Field on Friday.

He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the first and seventh innings.

Allan Sanchez recorded his second win of the year for the Regina Red Sox. He allowed two runs over six innings. Sanchez struck out five, walked three and gave up six hits.

Chris Housley (1-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just seven innings, walked none, struck out four, and allowed four runs.
