A walk-off single from David Head brought home the winning run for the Okotoks Dawgs (4-1) in a 5-4 victory over the Edmonton Prospects (0-6) at Seaman Stadium on Friday.

Head racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Okotoks Dawgs. He doubled in the fourth innings and singled in the ninth inning.

Sean Kettering blasted two home runs for the Okotoks Dawgs. Kettering went 3-5 in the game with two RBIs and two runs scored. Kettering homered in the first and ninth innings.

Ryan Serrato brought the heat against the Edmonton Prospects during his outing. Serrato gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four during his 2 2/3 innings of work.

Despite the loss, the Edmonton Prospects' Michael Nelson dominated the Okotoks Dawgs' batters, giving up three runs and striking out five.

Aaron Pepin (0-2) took the loss for the Edmonton Prospects. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
