Munoz's single gives the Swift Current Indians walk-off win over the Edmonton Prospects, 4-3

A walk-off single from Bryant Munoz brought home the winning run for the Swift Current Indians (3-1) in a 4-3 victory over the Edmonton Prospects (0-3) in 15 innings at Mitchell Field on Sunday.

Munoz did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Swift Current Indians, reaching base three times. He also drove in one runner. He singled in the fifteenth inning.

Jake Gonzalez carried the Swift Current Indians' offense and pitching in the victory.

Gonzalez put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Swift Current Indians. He homered in the eighth innings, singled in the tenth inning, and doubled in the twelfth inning.

Gonzalez kept contact to a minimum, striking out eight the Edmonton Prospects batters. The Swift Current Indians' pitcher gave up just three hits over five shutout innings.

Michael Nelson was effective even in defeat, mowing down five the Swift Current Indians batters and allowing one run.

Sean Guite (0-1) took the loss for the Edmonton Prospects. He lasted just 3 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed one run.

The Swift Current Indians were sparked by Gonzalez and Danny Clifford, who teamed up for five hits and three RBIs.
