DeDeaux's walk-off send the Medicine Hat Mavericks home winners, 6-5

A walk-off from CJ DeDeaux brought home the winning run for the Medicine Hat Mavericks (4-0) in a 6-5 victory over the Edmonton Prospects in 13 innings at Athletic Park on Saturday.

DeDeaux got on base two times in the game for the Medicine Hat Mavericks. He scored one run and had one RBI. He homered in the second inning.

Joel Lutz reached base five times. He also drove in one runner. He singled in the fifth and sixth innings and doubled in the eighth inning.

The Edmonton Prospects (0-3) couldn't get anything going so long as Alex Mann was on the hill. Mann held the Edmonton Prospects hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out five.

Aaron Pepin couldn't get it done on the hill for the Edmonton Prospects, taking a loss. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed one run.
