The Trinidad Triggers (37-31) beat the Raton Osos (13-53) 4-2 on Tuesday at Central Park behind Wink Nolan, who went 1-2.

Nick Mutz struck out six hitters en route to the the Trinidad Triggers win. Mutz allowed one earned run on five hits and one walk over seven innings.

Stedman Smith was hot from the plate for the Raton Osos. Smith went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the third inning and homered in the fifth inning.

Tim Sylvester ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his sixth loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked four, struck out four, and allowed three runs.
