The White Sands Pupfish (25-36) rolled over the Las Vegas Train Robbers 13-5 on Saturday at Rodriguez Park after a seven-run rally in the second inning.

George Ban racked up five RBIs on three hits for the White Sands Pupfish. He homered in the second inning, doubled in the fourth inning, and singled in the fifth inning.

Dimitri Nunez got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He allowed one run over five innings. He struck out two, walked two and surrendered five hits.

Ryan Wood (1-2) took the loss for the Las Vegas Train Robbers (36-24). He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked three, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
